VICINI TBR (Tourism and Real Estate)
had recently finished their new Sansouci Port terminal for cargo and cruise ships.
At the time it was the biggest air conditioned space in the Caribbean.
Since cruise and cargo didn't come in on a regular or daily basis, besides using the terminal as a port,
they wanted to market it for big events such as fairs, congresses, concerts, graduations.
"The longest day of the year, on which the whole family should be together in a very 'cool' place" said Juan Vicini, top executive at VICINI TBR.
To communicate the event, press releases were sent out to the major newspapers, followed by radio and flyer handouts at major family establishments such as malls, and recreational centers.
The event featured an interactive program to engage all ages and sizes from 10AM until 12AM
Los Hermanos Rosario, Vicente García (Calor Urbano) and Julio Sabala.
The event also served as a platform to showcase most of VICINI's Consumer Products and Services portfolio.
